Guidelines and principles governing the use of the E-Box Employee Voice Platform at Royal Hospital.
1. Platform Purpose & Scope
The E-Box Employee Voice Platform is an institutional channel designed to empower healthcare practitioners, administrative personnel, and support staff to submit suggestions, constructive feedback, and improvement ideas aimed at enhancing clinical workflows, operational safety, and workplace culture across Royal Hospital.
2. Staff Protections & Non-Retaliation
The hospital leadership strictly upholds a non-retaliation policy. All healthcare personnel have the right to voice their workplace experiences, concerns, and suggestions openly or anonymously without fear of negative career repercussions, discrimination, or administrative penalty.
3. Professional & Constructive Engagement
Users are expected to engage with the platform in a professional, courteous, and truthful manner. Submissions must focus on institutional enhancement, workplace conditions, and patient safety. Personal grievances against specific individuals, abusive language, defamation, or unsubstantiated allegations should not be submitted through this channel and will be filtered.
4. Review, Assessment & Action
All submitted feedback is logged, cataloged, and assigned to the relevant departmental committees and innovation leads for assessment. Feasible ideas are prioritized for execution and communicated back via the "You Said - We Did" transparency board.
5. Urgent Situations & Patient Emergencies
The E-Box platform is not an emergency response hotline. Immediate clinical safety risks, medical emergencies, or urgent patient-related hazards must be escalated immediately through designated hospital emergency codes, duty managers, and official clinical escalation protocols.
